Western Quick Disconnects w/Check Valves (set) - Torch To Hose QDB10

Western's QDB10 Torch to Hose Quick Connects provide fast, reliable and positive connections and quick disconnections for torches, hoses and regulators. All models are color-coded for gas service for added safety (oxygen/green, fuel gas/red). Oxy/fuel gas models include integrated reverse flow Check Valves. Quick Connects fit all B-size welding and cutting equipment.

  • Non-interchangeable Oxygen and Fuel Gas connectors prevent accidental gas mixing
  • Instant closure on reverse flow Check Valves with total shutoff at only 10 oz. of back pressure
  • Exceed CGA flow specifications 1100 SCFH flow at 125 PSIG inlet pressure and 800 SCFH flow at 125 PSIG inlet pressure when 2 additional check valves are used in conjunction with the Quick Connects
  • Spring loaded locking mechanism responds to fingertip action and achieves a gas-tight connection
  • Double seal socket connection on second seal provides added safety protection

      Made my life easy

      Added these to my band crawler and my cutting torch, I like the the fact that you do not need to shut the gas off to disconnect the hose. Really made it easy to install/remove the crawler. If your a fitter contractor and are tired of the guys rounding off the fitting with channel locks then this is what you need.

      hit or miss

      I've bought 3 sets over the last year and 2 sets leak from the acetylene side. Spend a little more money on the Koike Sentinel (think that's what they're called) set that will work

      Great Time Saver

      I bought these some years ago because I own several torches and I often swap them for different tasks. This quick connect works perfect with no leaks whatsoever, and I am not risking stripping out my brass on my torch. Also, I do a good bit of mobile work, and I cannot stand to see a torch going down the highway dangling from a hose as it is very hard on the torch and fittings, not to mention the fact that a dangling torch is pretty quick and easy money for a thief with a pocket knife.
